Coach K has structured his life and his job around family. Everyone is in Durham, and everyone has ties to the program. The grandkids can come anytime.
It's something he can never have anywhere else.
Even if he did take the LA job and move everyone to the West coast, he'd still be on the road way more than he wants to.
What he has here cannot be replicated anywhere else
