Lacrosse Back To Final Four; Baseball's Great Season

It's a nice spring for Duke sports.

Once again, Duke lacrosse has advanced to the Final Four: Duke knocked off Johns Hopkins, one of the true lacrosse giants, 19-11. As things have turned out, John Danowski was an absolutely brilliant hire.

Maryland, Notre Dame and Denver are the other three finalists. Duke will play Denver, while Maryland and Notre Dame will square off.

It's also worth noting that his predecessor, Mike Pressler, who was forced out during the lacrosse scandal, nearly got Bryant there. Can you imagine the stories if Duke and Bryant met in the Final Four?

And while college baseball is a ways down our list, Duke has had a great season, the best the team has seen in years. The Blue Devils are seeded #4 in the ACC Tournament, which will take place In Greensboro.

Duke will open play Wednesday with Clemson at 11 a.m.
