Point Guard Competition Should Be Intense

Can we get tickets to practice? Should be worth it this year.

ESPN has a list of schools which will have a competition at the point, including, obviously Duke.

Duke will have two primary point guards in Quinn Cook and freshman Tyus Jones. You really can't go wrong: Cook has been erratic, but he has a real gift for the game and at times can remind one a bit of Isaiah Thomas with his ability to get inside against bigger players. Jones is a gifted playmaker and leader who is going to push Cook. Practice competition should be superb.

Duke will miss Tyler Thornton more than most people realize, however.

UNC is on the list with Nate Britt and Joel Berry.

Interestingly, Syracuse makes it with Kaleb Joseph and Duke transfer Michael Gbinije.
