Jabari Parker is apparently planning to opt out of the NBA combine, and why not?
He made his case pretty convincingly at Duke. The combine is just a chance to nitpick. He's not going to slide very far, if at all, so might as well take a pass.

Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid, both of Kansas, will also skip.
The draft lottery is in eight days and at that point, a lot of things will become more clear.
A fun prospect to consider: the Celtics move up and Parker goes from Mike Krzyzewski's system to that of Brad Stevens.
Boston also picks at #17, and there should be plenty of talent left at that point. It'll be interesting to see how the Celtics play it.
