ACC, Terps Seek Settlement?

A mediator is going to give it a shot.

After months of blustering, the ACC and Maryland may be heading for an accommodation: as reported by the Washington Post Tuesday, both parties have agreed to a mediator, and the judge, John R. Jolly Jr., based in North Carolina, appointed Jonathan A. Marks out of Bethesda, Maryland.

He's apparently quite experienced.

Neither party is bound by his recommendations, but both have incentives to settle.

It's kind of too bad. We'd like to see Maryland sweat a bit before it's over.
