Jerami Grant To Enter Draft

Between his dad and uncle, both longtime NBA vets, he should have plenty of advice.

A couple of ACC notes: Jerami Grant has opted to leave Syracuse for the NBA with less than certain prospects.  We'll see how he does. Like a lot of Syracuse guys, he has to unlearn the zone mentality and embrace NBA defense.

And at Clemson, QB Chad Kelly, following a rocky spring football game, had a bad meeting with his coaches Monday.

Afterwards, Dabo Swinney announced he had kicked him off the team.

Rumors abound, naturally: the Charleston Post and Courier and The State both reported that Kelly had had an incident Saturday at Littlejohn. A Triangle TV stations suggested that he had "stormed" into the meeting. Whatever else you can say, it was clearly stormy.

Kelly, by the way, is the nephew of NFL legend Jim Kelly, currently in the biggest fight of his life, for his life, against cancer.
