It's been a big week for Jabari Parker and it's only Monday: by Sunday, Parker had announced that he would not be departing for the traditional two-year Mormon evangelical mission. On Monday, he and his parents flew out to Oklahoma City, where he was honored with the Wayman Tisdale Award, given annually to the nation's top freshman.

On Tuesday, he's due to meet with Coach K to discuss his career options, and on Wednesday he was supposedly going to announce his decision before, during or possibly after the team banquet, which will also be on the 16th.
However, the original report on that was apparently false. So don't count on a Wednesday announcement.
By the way, in case you didn't realize it, after his basketball career, Tisdale launched a startlingly good music career which was cut short by his far too early death. He could've been much bigger in music than basketball, and he was pretty big in hoops.
