It didn't really make the news in the Triangle, or certainly it wasn't treated as a big deal, but BC's Ryan Anderson has decided to transfer. It's a big hit for new coach Jim Christian, but better to have happy players than unhappy ones.
No word yet on where Anderson is heading.

As for Christian, he faces a unique challenge at BC, where an enormous junior class is moving through the program. He'll have 11 guys who are either seniors or juniors, no freshman barring some late developments, and while everyone will get a fresh start, he'll be rebuilding a second time very soon.
And that's assuming he can coax a good run out of the seniors and juniors.
Anderson would've helped, and a healthy Dennis Clifford would too. But no matter what happens, he's got to start getting some players, and a lot of them, very quickly.
