The primary news in the ACC is the decision of Tyler Lewis to transfer from NC State. It's really too bad. It's always nice to see a smaller guy make it, and though he was a part-time starter, Lewis had made it.
One thing we didn't realize was how much TJ Warren's numbers went up as Lewis got more minutes. He had a huge influence on his team. It's too bad he won't be around next year.
Sally Jenkins has an interesting article up on the problems which might be caused if college athletes unionize. One thing she could have elaborated on: if athletes go from students to employees, will Title IX still apply?

The Syracuse paper reports that coach-in-waiting Mike Hopkins is (likely) interviewing for the vacant B.C. job. He's a highly regarded assistant but has no head coaching experience.
A lot of people won't think about it, but when the Miller brothers both got knocked out Saturday, it was also two former State assistants. And Sendek assistants at that.
Arizona fell just short, losing 64-63 in overtime. Wisconsin's Frank Kaminski was a revelation for many, showing an outside pop and some excellent inside moves.
Florida advanced too, behind great defense against Dayton. The Gators maintained huge pressure. That will serve them well in the Final Four.
