On Saturday, Syracuse (#4), Kansas (#5), Louisville (#7), Creighton (#9), St. Louis (#10), Cincinnati (#11), Iowa State (#15), Kentucky (#17) and  Michigan State (#18) all lost.

UNC, #19, barely survived.

That'll shake up the rankings next week. Duke is likely to move up to #4 and Virginia will be in the Top Ten. The RPI damage is yet to be determined.

At the top of the rankings are Florida, Wichita State and Arizona.

No upsets for #2 Wichita State: the Shockers beat Missouri State 68-45 to wrap up an undefeated regular season.

There's an argument about just how good the Shockers are because really, the schedule has almost no one of significance.

The highest ranked opponent was Saint Louis and that was a five point win. Here's the non-conference opponents and scores. Does it take anything away from what the team has accomplished, but it does give it a bit of perspective.

This is a hardnosed team which profits from intense defense, but there are no guarantees in tournament play. And Wichita State hasn't played anyone truly verging on great since playing Louisville last year
