It doesn't seem too complicated really.

Wake Forest is just bad. Notre Dame at least has some concept of being good. The Irish would be a lot better with Jerian Grant - there were nine games that were pretty close. If Notre Dame had had Grant, 24 wins would have been easy to obtain.

We'll take the Irish. Bonus prediction: Jeff Bzdelik's Wake career ends after the game.

Georgia Tech is coming together at the right time, with Daniel Carter and Trae Golden getting healthy, so we'll take the Yellow Jackets over BC. Plus GT actually defends and has size.

Miami and Virginia Tech shouldn't be too hard. Tech has improved, but Miami has superb coaching on its side. So we'll take the 'Canes to raze the Hokies.
