Football Signees Impressive

WIth new talent in the pipeline, Duke's rise seems likely to continue.

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Spor

David Cutcliffe has completely overhauled Duke football, so no surprise that it's beginning to extend to football: Duke's prize recruit on National Signing Day is Trevon Lee.

A wide receiver (5-11/168) out of  Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons, he's Duke's first recruit in ESPN's 300.

Lee ranks 235.

Duke also picked up some other elite talent and is making inroads into Florida.

ESPN suggests that Duke may be assembling a Top 40 Class - unheard of for the Blue Devils.
