A quiet Friday but Saturday should be fun.

As usual, there are no Friday games, but a full slate awaits Saturday: BC gets a break from the snow with a visit to Miami, while Clemson goes down to Georgia Tech for a winnable game to keep its tourney hopes alive. Notre Dame goes to Charlottesville where the 'Hoos can tighten their grip on first place.

State makes the trip up to Blacksburg looking for win #17 against Virginia Tech.

And of course after both teams have had unusually busy slates, Carolina welcomes Wake Forest and Duke hosts Syracuse for the first time as an ACC foe.

What's going to be interesting in the short term is this: Duke and UNC are both likely to be pretty beat after Thursday's game, which was rescheduled and is now for each the third in a series of four scheduled close together.

If either or both teams lose, Pitt has a chance to make a move: at 8-5, Pitt is a game behind and has lost to both teams. The Panthers have a favorable schedule the rest of the way, with a home game coming up against FSU, trips to BC and Notre Dame, a home finale against State and then closing out at Clemson.
