The best games, by far, should be Minnesota vs. Lousville (Pitino vs. Pitino) and Georgia at Georgia Tech. The rest should be pretty bland, although it is unusual for Virginia to travel to Harrisonburg to take on James Madison. Why? There's not much to gain from an early road trip and there's always the possibility of an upset. Matt Brady has been up and down at JMU, but partly because of injuries. He seems like a promising young coach.

We don't think NCCU has a serious shot at UNC, but you know they'll love having one, and the Eagles did pretty well last season. It would be asking a lot, though. And while we imagine the UNC crowd will be supportive of the team and coach Roy Williams, there is a shadow hanging over the program still. How will everyone react to that? Time will tell.

It's also going to be interesting to see how Buzz Williams, Danny Manning and Jim Christian do in their debuts with Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and BC respectively.
