Brown, Deaver Win Sixth Year From NCAA, Will Return To Duke Football In 2015

Leadership and experience they'll provide should be a boon for the Blue Devils.

It's not Christmas yet, but maybe it came a bit early for Duke football as Kelby Brown and Braxton Deaver have both been granted a sixth year of eligibility.

Given that Duke is 8-1 so far this season without them, having them back next year is a major bonus. It will give the Blue Devils two really experienced leaders.

It would have been best to have had them this year, but it could turn out to be the proverbial blessing in disguise.
