Ron Morris takes a whack at the notion of an athletic stipend, as suggested by his nemesis Steve Spurrier, and suggests that, given the Pell Grant, it's unnecessary. To an extent, it might qualify as a dig at Spurrier, who earlier tried to have Morris banned from covering South Carolina sports.
