Here's some really sad news: Chelsea Gray, who has been such a wonderful force for Duke women's basketball, won't play for Duke again: an injury suffered against Boston College on Sunday, originally thought to be a bruise, is instead a broken kneecap.
So her playing time at Duke is over, but not her impact. She's left a strong legacy and will, we're sure, continue to help nurture and mold her team.
Speaking of such things, Amber Henson, who has endured six knee surgeries since high school, is one of two finalists for the United States Basketball Writers Association Most Courageous Award.
Honestly, most people would give up. It's incredibly impressive that she keeps trying.
