Jai, son of Durham native John Lucas, is really tied into the Texas scene thanks to his dad. And largely because of that hire, Texas has quickly gotten into the race for Khadeem Lattin.
If that name sounds familiar, it should: he's the grandson of Dave "Big Daddy" Lattin, who led Texas Western (now UTEP) to its stunning 1966 title win over Pat Riley, Adolph Rupp, and Kentucky.
