In late June, Mellencamp, his brother Speck (Hud and Speck? Seriously?) and a friend named Ty A. Smith allegedly beat one Alexander Bucy pretty seriously.
Hud Mellencamp maintains that the fight was between his brother and Bucy. All three face charges back home in Indiana.
We don't know what happened here obviously and we wouldn't pretend to know what will happen from here on out. We will say though that David Cutcliffe has established a reputation as a straight shooter not willing to put up with much nonsense.
