Former Kentucky star Terrence Jones, currently with the Rockets, stands accused of stomping a homeless man as he slept in a doorway and yelling "wake up!"
Not nice, to say the least.
Of course, at present it's an allegation, but working against Jones are two considerable factors: first, the witness is a Portland police officer, and second, the homeless man's leg is mildy injured.
It's not hard to put that together and to conclude that he's guilty.
Still, he pleaded not guilty and his attorney denies that Jones gave the man a Laettner (hey, it's a Kentucky guy. We couldn't resist).
So we'll see. Either way, if the man chooses to, he has an outstanding basis for a lawsuit.
