Just like the rest of life, there are no guarantees in the NBA, but Shavlik Randolph has worked hard and feels good about his chances of sticking with the Celtics. The hiring of Brad Stevens makes Randolph potentially the only guy to play for both Mike Krzyzewski and Stevens, which could be interesting in and of itself.
More interesting is that Randolph has kept coming. We'll know soon if his hard work pays off with an extended stay in Beantown. Given the departures of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, there will certainly be minutes available.
