Luke DeCock says that despite objections raised by Steve Spurrier and Coach K, the ACC is profiting from Notre Dame's partial membership, particularly when it comes to bowl games and opponents.
If Notre Dame does eventually join in football, then it's a major boon. On the other hand, if TV money is indeed a bubble, then Notre Dame, a single school with a contract with NBC, may in the end prove to be the winner - and still independent.
