For the most part, recruiting - by which we mean observing players, not courting them - must be fairly tedious. For every kid who really excites your imagination, you have to see dozens and dozens who don't, including some who would offend most people who care about the game.
It must be wearing. So you can't really blame Jim Boeheim for this.
