There are some changes for the Greater NC Pro-Am this year, thanks to the NCAA: the location has moved from Central's McDougald-McLendon Gym to the Durham School of the Arts gym.
The NCAA is concerned that the event gives NCCU a recruiting advantage. They're also concerned that letting more than two players who will play together next season is wrong, so freshmen and transfers (like anyone else actually) will be parceled out among teams.
Jerry Stackhouse says he'd prefer to have identifiable teams but that the Pro-Am "can work around it."
