Rutgers Circus Continues

Things didn't particularly ease up Sunday for incoming Rutgers A.D. Julie Hermann, who is caught up in old allegations of abuse from her coaching days and also questions about her veracity now: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says he's going to be checking up on all of this, and State Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver let fly too, telling NJ.com that "[t]he questionable decision-making at this program so heavily funded by taxpayers continues to astound me."

Another Senator, Richard Codey, took aim at Rutgers president Robert Barchi: "This is becoming Comedy Central. It's an embarrassment to the students and alumni of a great university and it's time Mr. Barchi takes his show on the road."
