An Interesting ESPN Map

After Mike Brey, echoing Coach K, said the ACC could become the greatest basketball conference of all time, ESPN put it to a poll and posted a map to show where the voters came from.

The ACC footprint, from Georgia to New York, held with a couple of exceptions: New Jersey (not really part of the footprint anyway), Maryland and D.C.

Maryland split between Good Chance (39%) and Slim Chance (39%) while D.C. went whole hog and voted Good Chance 45% and Slim Chance 46%. Looks like the separation is complete in their minds.

Massachusetts also dumped on the ACC, casting 36% for Good Chance and 47% for Slim Chance.

And football-centric Florida went 40% for Good Chance and 43% for Slim Chance.
