Rutgers Futility Continues

We've followed the latest from Rutgers with some amusement: after passing on Bob Hurley, who had allowed his family to persuade him to consider coaching at Rutgers long enough to set things straight and make New Jersey proud of the state university's basketball program for a change, they instead hired Eddie Jordan.

Jordan did attend Rutgers, but didn't graduate as he claimed. So: another black eye for the Knights, now truly scarlet.  Jim Delaney must be thrilled.

Here's our old pal Steve Politi with his take on the latest fiasco for the soon-to-be-member of the Big Ten. It's a pretty considerable (and deserved) rip all the way round.
