You may remember that Tony Parker's recruitment ended up an absurdity. He was pulled to and fro by family members to go to either Duke, Georgia or UCLA, and when he finally committed to UCLA, his announcement set a new standard for self-indulgence, which was pretty hard to do considering Harisson Barnes's efforts in that department.
Anyway, not surprisingly, the big Georgian was reportedly homesick this year and barely played for Ben Howland, averaging just 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds and a transfer is a real possibility, according to his dad, Virgil, who said this:
âIt wasnât a good experience for him out there. Thereâs a lot of people out there that have a fingerprint on his whole situation, if you sit back and watch this whole thing unveil.
âIt was hard on us as a family, as you could imagine. It wasnât a good experience.â
He says Alford will get a chance though. We'll see how it plays out.
