Steve Alford finished his run at New Mexico as a popular and respected figure in New Mexico. After he took the UCLA job, assistant Craig Neal took over, more or less by popular demand.
Fortunately for Neal, it's not the first time he's had a tough act to follow: at Georgia Tech, he followed the legendary Mark Price and ended up doing pretty well. We're guessing he can handle this transition too.
