No great surprise here, but Alex Len looks set to bail on Maryland and head to the NBA. Is he ready? Probably not. Does it matter? Almost certainly not.
As one scout told the Baltimore Sun, "NBA coaches and general managers draft on potential, and they see Len as being very athletic and someone who is very coachable and works hard. I would be very surprised if he doesn't come out and isn't a lottery pick. He's 7-1, can run the floor and has a pretty good jump shot. There are not too many guys like that in college."
