It's Official: Collins To Northwestern!

First, as you have likely heard by now, Chris Collins has accepted the head coaching job at Northwestern.

It's a tough job, there's no question: Northwestern has never made the NCAA tournament. We can't think of another school from a major conference that can say that.

It's a position that fairly screams for a smart, highly energetic guy who can identify talented, driven players who can succeed on and off the court. Collins certainly fits the profile.

His dad, Doug, has said that his dream job would be to become Chris's assistant coach. It might not happen right away but it's kind of a cool thing to think about.

As he prepares to leave Duke - he'll be here through the tournament - Nate James is ready to move back to an assistant's position for the Blue Devils.
