Florida State 45 Duke 7, Congratulations 'Noles

A tough night for Duke but there's no shame in losing to a superior team.

While we're obviously disappointed that Florida State hammered Duke in the ACC Championship, a bit of perspective is in order.

Duke played for the ACC title for the first time, won ten games for the first time and is going to a bowl game for the second straight year.

And just as importantly, Duke is still doing things the right way.

What the football team accomplished this year is absolutely remarkable and deserves immense respect. This is a program, remember, which not long ago had many urging Duke to drop football as futile.

It's been a beautiful season and one bad loss doesn't negate anything.

There's a tremendous amount of which to be proud. As Coach K suggests from time to time, Sunday is a good day to put on your Duke stuff.
