Duke Crushes Purdue, 99-78

It may not register in Durham, but Purdue has long been a hotspot for women's basketball. In fact, that's where Duke found Gail Goestenkors, who first put Duke on a level well beyond that of Purdue.

That was reinforced Thursday as Duke let # 16 Purdue hang around for a while before hitting the gas and leaving the Boilermakers out of steam: Duke won 99-78.
