Former UNC professor Julius Nyang’oro was indicted Mondayon charges of obtaining property by false pretense (he took $12,000 dollars for a class he didn't teach).
Now things get interesting: Nyang’oro no longer has any interest in protecting anyone at UNC and must be concerned with keeping himself out of prison instead. He may be offered a deal for testimony. If so, things could get very interesting very quickly.
If any attorneys would like to offer an opinion on this indictment we'd be pleased to hear it.
