Well, not technically, since Calipari is responding to Izzo's comments, which weren't intended for Calipari. Still, it should add some focus and intensity to the game, which is now less than a month away.
Calipari's take may be a bit off: it's entirely possible that Izzo's comment (we're working to kick Kentucky's ass) was at least partly aimed at Calipari. If you follow basketball, you'll know that many coaches (just think back to John Chaney, who publicly threatened to kill Calipari) aren't real taken with the Kentucky coach.
