Although Blair Holliday and his family have not yet discussed the severity of his injury or what's involved in his rehab, it's great news to know that he's talked to his coaches and teammates.
Coach David Cutcliffe tells the N&O that "[h]eâs ready to work hard. I have had personal experiences with friends that have had gotten great rehab consequences out of the people at the Shepard Center, so I know he is in good hands."
As you guys know, Blair's family is trying to raise money, with the blessing of the NCAA, to pay for his care. Their goal is $40,000; they're up to $17,478. If you haven't considered giving, we hope that you will.
