You have to feel a bit for Jim Calhoun: the guy's been getting hammered lately. No, not the NCAA, but injuries.
Calhoun broke a hip on his bike Saturday and will have surgery. Not easy for anyone, but the man is 70 and his health has not been good.
He has had a previous bike accident, a couple of bouts with cancer, and missed the end of last season with spinal stenosis.
We admire his determination to continue coaching, but there comes a time when it's okay to just let it go.
