For a long time, Greensboro made perfect sense as the home of the ACC: it was in the middle and the four NC schools plus Clemson, South Carolina and Virginia weren't very far away. Even Maryland was just a five-hour bus trip.
Now, though, extending from Boston to Miami, the center cannot hold, if you will. This is why the tournament has become a road show.
Well, says David Teel, as long as it's traveling, why not Virginia Beach? It's a reasonable idea.
