Although basketball has always had a tough side for Bobby Cremins (fleeing for a week after losing the ACC Tournament as a player at South Carolina, the decline at Georgia Tech and the stress which led to his retirement at Charleston) who can't forgive himself very much, has there ever been a better ex-coach?
He's currently going out of his way to make life easier for Brian Gregory at Tech, and the fans are going to love him for that, too. It's a shame, really, that he focused so much on failures and shortcomings as a coach, because people just adore the guy and were much more accepting of his shortcomings than is he.
