With the revelations from what appear to be Julius Peppers' transcript, Mike DeCourcy asks the right question: why was he allowed to play a second sport when he could barely handle one, and what does that say about UNC's priorities?
The second question is just how long has this rot existed. And that's a question the university is going to have to ask - and answer.
Ol' Roy still says it has nothing to do with his program, and he may be right. Any funny stuff with Peppers happened before he arrived. But that doesn't change the toxic cloud that's spread over the department.
