Maryland transfer Ashton Pankey has picked his school: it's going to be Manhattan. Apparently his mother has been having a tough time and was recently evicted. He says he'll be happier being close in case she needs him. Sounds like a good guy to us.
By the way, this is going to be a very young Terps teamPankey is leaving behind. As best we know, there are going to be 11 players on the team next season and only four returnees. Logan Aronhalt is a grad-student transfer who at least understands college basketball. Otherwise, there are just four scholarship players returning, and of those, Pe'Shon Howard is coming off of injuries and Alex Len had an unsteady first year.
