Syracuse & Pitt Find Leaving Big East Getting Tougher

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

As Syracuse and Pitt work on exiting the Big East, things are getting ugly and the SEC-Big East Challenge is somewhat mucked up: Syracuse doesn't want to play Arkansas, and Pitt, after keeping a spot open for a (home) game, won't be getting one.

The easy and obvious solution is to send Pitt to Arkansas, or vice-versa, but things are getting nasty towards the end, so don't count on calm heads prevailing.
