The ACC has had any number of characters over the last 50+years, on the court and off: Lou Bello, Lefty Driesell, Robert Novak, Crazy Towel Guy and too many more to mention.
We never met John Snipes, who was a huge UNC fan, but we admire what we know about him. He sounds like a guy who lived for his passion for UNC. We can appreciate that, and the rather extravagant vehicle he designed as well.
Snipes passed away on the 5th; we're sure he'll be greatly missed.
