Maryland fell to Loyola in the lacrosse championship, 9-3, which is too bad. We don't particularly love the Terps, but generally speaking, we pull for the ACC team when one is competing.

The proposed field is ugly and if the turf is natural, photosynthesis would struggle, as the players would with the heat. On the other hand, though, Gatorade would be thrilled with sideline consumption.
