You have to give Duke lacrosse a lot of credit: this program was basically broken by the Crystal Mangum hoax, or at least by rights should have been.
But that team didn't give in and the teams since have shown a huge amount of character. Latest example: Duke's 12-9 win over UNC to win the ACC title.
By the way, when Syracuse shows up, the ACC is going to be an absolute powerhouse in this sport.
