A couple of interesting stories on the national front: first, Jim Calhoun has had surgery and is trying to get back on the bench...but is he pushing it too fast? Duke fans have some knowledge of that sort of thing. He says he won't, but that's not how coaching DNA is programmed. He'll push.
Second, after the awful UCLA story, former Bruin Reeves Nelson would, he says, like to set the record straight: the dreadful things which were written about him, he says, are just not true. He's asking for a retraction.
