ACC action opens on Friday night with just about everyone in action except for Clemson, BC and Virginia Tech.
Without question, the headliner is Maryland's tiff with Kentucky, a game made more interesting with Dez Wells on the floor.
Wells, you'll recall, transferred from Xavier to Maryland under a bit of a cloud and was ruled immediately eligible upon Maryland's appeal. That'll be a really interesting game and if Maryland wins, look for them to rocket up the rankings.
After that, we'll be anxious to see how State does, given the new expectations and also Miami after blowing an exhibition game against St. Leo's.
We'll be curious to see how Paul Hewitt goes at Virginia, since their paces are almost entirely opposite.
How fast can Wake's rookies get up to speed? And UNC's? Is Marcus Paige strong enough?
Sometimes the questions (anticipation) are better than the answers (reality). Big whoop. It's another ACC season and we can't wait.
