Congrats to the inaugural members of State's Hall Of Fame, David Thompson and Kay Yow above all. Forgive us a quibble, but how is it that Jim Valvano gets in ahead of Norm Sloan? We understand the appeal - V was charismatic where Sloan was cranky - but Sloan's great teams in '73 and '74 redefined the ACC and broke UCLA's hold on the title.
And went 57-1.
They both deserve it, but we'd prefer Sloan first.
