A significant development in the Lance Thomas situation as he says he'll talk to the NCAA after he clears up some lingering legal issues. He had some comments about the overall situation as practice started for the Hornets where he'll welcome rookie teammate Austin Rivers.

When asked if he broke NCAA rules, he said "I don't think so." He went on to say that "I do feel bad that was something that was just lingering around the university. But everything's going to get taken care of the right way and I hope the coaching staff and the whole university knows that those were the best four years of my life. Everything will come out. But it will come out on the better end, hopefully."
