Check this out: former ACC coaches Frank Haith and Herb Sendek have both had significant player defections and are now down to seven and six scholarship player respectively.
At Arizona State, Keala King and Kyle Cain, and sub Chris Colvin were all suspended for the L.A. trip to play UCLA and USC. Presumably they'll be back, but who knows. Colvin has already been suspended once this season.
At Mizzou, Kadeem Green has left the team and now the Tigers are down to six scholarship players. It's hard to see how they can maintain their torrid start with no depth at all, although it has happened before. Bobby Cremins walked that tightrope many times at Georgia Tech.
